Ethel Cleo Camello Obituary (1927 - 2019) - South Lake Tahoe, California

On November 15, 2019, Ethel C. Camello,92, slipped away quietly at home to be with our Lord. At her side was her loving daughter - friend - travel companion - and caregiver , Nikki and her husband Jack and her Son Steve and his wife Karen. She was survived by her son John and his wife Lola , Grandchildren - Johnathan, Tiana, and Bianca and countless nephews and nieces. Ethel was born January 20, 1927 in Oakland California and later married the love of her life Joe Camello in 1961. They relocated to South Lake Tahoe in 1988 where Ethel was employed by Caesars Tahoe and later by Lakeside Inn. She enjoyed spending time with her husband and family and large get togethers as well as all the family vacations that took her around the world. She was a San Francisco 49er fan and would tell anyone who asked or didn't , that Joe Montana was better than Tom Brady. Yes she was a firecracker and often the life of the party on our family cruises and vacations. She was devoted to the church and grew up singing in the choir. Ethel had an amazing voice, singing in competitions and weddings but more than that she was an amazing Wife, Mother, Daughter and Friend. Ethel was a proud and loving woman and will be greatly missed but always with us.
